What is a bay boat?
A shallow draught fishing boat for bays and coastal waters, open and with casting platforms. For insurance what counts is length, engine power, value, equipment and cruising area, not the designation.
Does hull cover pay for damage to the bow motor?
Yes, if the bow motor is named in the equipment and included in the sum insured. Bow motors are a common claim on fishing boats, because in shallow water they touch bottom first.
