Four motor boat ranges are in the programme: Aluma Vigilant 25, 28, 30 and 32, in continuous production since 2018 and still built today. Anyone moving such a boat between the berth and the road needs protection on both routes. At NAMMERT the boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium.
Cover continues to apply on the transport route, during craning and during launching, and likewise in winter storage. Full hull cover takes on collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. An agreed value is arranged, and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
The premium depends on the type of boat, value, build year, engine power and cruising range, never on the brand. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros cover can be taken out online, above that we assess the individual case. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros remains the basis in every tariff.

Frequent questions
Is the trailer for an Aluma Vigilant covered as well?
Yes, the boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium. This also covers the transport route, as well as launching and craning at the start and the end of the season.
Which tariff levels are available?
Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Depending on the level, third-party liability covers 10 to 50 million euros, in the Premium tariff full hull cover applies with no age limit, and from Basis-Plus upwards club races are included.

Registration

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
