The recorded model ranges date from the years 1965 to 1989: the Alufleet M 65 K motor yacht as well as the Jet 485 and Jet 555 motorboats. Production therefore lies in the past. Cover is available nonetheless, because we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners.
For a boat from these years, valuation is the real question. Full hull cover works with an agreed value, and in the event of a claim we indemnify with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit. In this way the agreed value remains the basis of calculation even after decades.
Limited hull cover includes fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage, and full hull cover additionally collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard.

Can a motor yacht with a year of construction of 1965 still be insured?
Yes. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. The premium is based on type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range, never on the name of the yard.
How is the agreed value arrived at?
It is agreed when the policy is taken out and reflects the value of the boat. For a replaced part there is no deduction for depreciation, and in the Premium tariff this applies with no age limit.
