Anyone taking over such a boat second-hand should set the sum insured at the replacement value, because it is precisely this value that we record in the contract as an agreed value.
When buying second-hand, the itemised list of hull, engine, electronics and equipment determines the sum. If a total loss occurs, full hull cover pays with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff without any age limit. Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard are covered.
Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros is the basis, selectable in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium.
