Four model ranges bearing the name Bonito shape the programme of Adam Boats: the Bonito 25 since 2013 and the Bonito 600, 700 and 760 since 2015, all still in production today. Anyone taking over one of these motor yachts second-hand should establish the replacement value before registering it, because it is precisely this amount that is agreed as the agreed value in the full hull cover.
The full hull cover from NAMMERT pays compensation with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old") and covers, besides fire, storm and theft, also collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. In the Premium tariff the age limit does not apply, so that even the early units built in 2013 remain covered in full.
Because the four ranges continue to be built without interruption, young and older boats lie side by side at the jetty. The premium therefore does not follow the brand name but the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the engine power and the cruising range. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis in every tariff level.

Frequent questions
How is the value of a used Bonito recorded in the policy?
Through an agreed value: the agreed sum is stated in the policy and is paid in the event of a total loss with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"). Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online, above that an individual review follows.
Does cover also apply outside the season?
Yes. Winter storage, craning, launching and transit are included, and a boat trailer is covered at no extra premium. The hull insurance has no time window and no night clause.
