Three model ranges are recorded for Activ Yachts: the motor yachts Activ 40 and Activ 50 as well as the sailing yacht NH Fun 30. The production periods lie between 2011 and 2020, so production of these ranges is in the past. Anyone taking over such a boat today is buying second hand and needs a policy that reflects the replacement value.
The NAMMERT full hull cover works with an agreed value. In the event of a claim, compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff without an age limit. For boats with years of construction from the 2010s this means a sum agreed in advance instead of a discussion about the current market value after the damage.
Because a motor yacht and a sailing yacht are classified differently, the premium is based on the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power or sail area respectively and cruising range, never on the brand. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros remains the basis in all three tariff levels.

How is the Activ 40 classified compared with the NH Fun 30?
The motor yacht is classified via the engine power, the sailing yacht via the sail area. Value, year of construction and cruising range count for both. The manufacturer name plays no part in the premium.
How does switching from an existing policy work?
NAMMERT cancels the previous contract free of charge. You provide the data of your boat, we take care of the cancellation and coordinate the start so that no gap in cover arises.
